DIY wall ideas

Bella Rose @YouWantMeToDoWhat (10) 10 Oct 19

I am considering using paint sticks for a stained affect for the wall on my bar area. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Has anyone ever done this?

maximax8 You could paint the wall in different colors and then varnish it over to make it log lasting. I have bought three wooden hexagons. I plan to paint them in seaside colors and display small nautical ornaments. Good luck with painting your bar area.

peavey Oh, I think that's a cool idea! It would take a lot, though, and a lot of different colors, wouldn't it?

Non Hodgkins Survivors

Bella Rose @YouWantMeToDoWhat (10) 7 Oct 19

My father was recently diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. I would love to hear from anyone who has experience this or has a loved one going through it. What alternative treatments besides chemo would you recommend?

Laurel (L_B) So sorry to hear that. I had a co-worker who was diagnosed with it five years ago. He went through chemo and is in remission. He is doing really well right now and feels great.

Heather Echola I am so sorry. I do not have experience with this particular cancer, but I know the survival rate is good. I would say do what the doctor recommends but investigate additional supportive lifestyle measures, such as herbs, and self care.

Some nights it is people screaming at each other probably because they are on drugs. Some afternoons it is people screaming at everyone probably because they are off their drugs. This evening it is the teenaged son of a new...

NJ Chicaa They aren't here at night when this stuff all goes on. Nothing they can do about someone hitting a kid anyway. That's why I had to call DYFS
