jillhill I grew up where the wind blew all the time. I love it. To me it seems calming, like a lulaby. I especially love sleeping when the wind is blowing outside as it brings back great memories.

jillhill I live in Minnesota and we did get 8 inches. I am tired of it because it's melting today and what a mess. The temp is low too keeping a chill in the house. I wish spring would come and stay!

jillhill We also had a snow storm in Minnesota. I was visiting my sister and ended up staying an extra night. The roads were almost impassable but by yesterday when I headed home they were mostly wet, not slippery.

jillhill I walk with a cane since I need a hip replacement but they won't do it yet. But that doesn't stop me from getting exercise. Here in Minnesota I get a lot of exercise shoveling snow. I also find I can dance yet. Not anything specific just moving to the music.
