Once upon a time, there was a website.
It was designed for discussions.
Some people posted successful discussions.
Some people posted unsuccessful discussions.
Some people posted discussions that got deleted.
Some people posted things that weren't discussions.
Sometimes those got deleted too.
But everyone that should have gotten paid got paid.
And they all lived happily ever after...for the most part.

Was it not Abraham Lincoln who said "Most People are about as happy as they make up their mind to be." or wait, was it Mark Twain. Anyway he said it, I won't forget it. I may look it up and place my report later.

According to Goodreads Abraham Lincoln said "Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.” and I think that is true for most of us here. However we hear more from the people who want to complain. And then we live happily ever after in spite of them.

@GardenGerty My dad used to tell us that saying all of the time. I did "get" the message.
And I like what you said about living happily ever in spite of them. That is what we need to do.

Thats a lovely modern day fairy story even the end sounds modern lol I wonder if the user who felt there were too many old people here is still here and had a happy or a slaphappy ending,.I for one would have loved to

I've had one or two discussion that got deleted. Still got paid and still getting paid and I intend to keep it at that. I mean getting paid - not getting discussions deleted.
Lovely modern day fairy tale but where are the damsel in distress, the evil stepmother, the evil witch, and the hero prince who will solve everything with his kiss?

The damsel in distress ended up being the evil stepmother who was a wicked witch in disguise, and the prince slew her and then took a nap...

Hey...where is the villain in the story...every story has to have one...and a heroine...who pretties herself...looks beautiful and flutters her eyes...like I am a barbie girl kind...the villain can be snake or shark...but without them there is no story...not even bed time story..

I had one discussion deleted once upon a time... Yeah, it was when I just signed up over 4 years ago, must had been one of my first five discussions or something... A kind owl told me then because it was considered a poll discussion - something along the line of "my favorite..."

I went on a 'favorite' binge several years back just out of spite...must've been 8 years ago...I was still on my first account and just lost it one day
