How I disposed of my ex-girlfriend

My ex- left because she said I wasn't ambitious enough. I saw that as an insult, so I had her for dinner and then took care of the rest in my kitchen sink. I learned it all from watching "Silence of the Lambs" many years ago. Have you ever done a cleaning project that was kind of gross? In this case, I'm soaking a rag I use for wiping my hands after speaker refinishing, plus a couple of sponges I use putting hot water on deep scratches in wood surfaces. I recently cleaned my toilet bowl. That was kind of gross too. But I'll save that for another post.

@thehorse my neighbour wipes her dog's butt after it makes a deposit on the street. She also tries to shake hands when we meet but I refuse.

Why not just not wash your hands after your morning constitutional? Then, as you're greeting your neighbor, the bacteria on your hands could do the same.

Hannibal is a good one if you are planning something around dinner. I have done a few gross jobs in my 60+ years on this planet. Baby poo, child puke, etc. All are pretty gross.

I think adult puke would be the worst. I remember adult liquid BM when a student in my dorm drank too much. But I wasn't involved in the clean-up.

Well, I would have not used my kitchen sink, but the laundry sink to do that. I clean the toilet bowl every three days, it must be perfectly clean!

Ambition is way over-rated. Ambition is a vicious circle. The more the ambitious get, the more they want, leading to a self-perpetuating spiral of worthlessness and despair where the only measure of self-worth becomes the trinkets and baubles they have gathered. And it's not good enough to just have lots of trinkets and baubles. Oh no! They have to have more, and better, trinkets and baubles than anyone else. Well you can keep your trinkets and baubles Mr. and Mrs. Ambition. I just want to be happy. And happiness isn't getting what you want, it's wanting what you've got. And I want what I've got!!

@TheHorse I knew that word ....(proves I am a woman)....smug smile. Latest in baubles are mismatch...so for ear rings on one ear you would have danglers showing letter "L" and "O", and on the other ear it would be "V" and "E" ..ha ha..I write articles on fashion, I should know..lol.

@TheHorse .. Do you use acid? Moralic acid..we use it once in a way. But normally the toilet cleaners do fine. Dad feels flushamatics (they have some anti bacterial thing) block pores so he does not allow me to use them. But personally, I would rather have them there.

How sure are you that what we are seeing there is the aftermath of the towel and not you cleaning up after cleaning the stool? Please, if I ever do meet you face to face, remind me to put on one of those gloves the vet uses when he is inseminating a cow! I want something nice and thick protecting me if/when we shake hands, pony!

I wash my hands a lot during the day--even after dealing with water-based wood filler. Usually within a couple of hours. Oh snap. I have to go help a mare give birth to her foal.

Before I read any comments, I'd like to say that Roald Dahl's "Tales of the Unexpected" TV series was an excellent watch, including the episode "Lamb to the Slaughter"... If you wanted inventive ways to get rid of a relative, that was a good place to start. Your normal programming resumes here!
This Web site is dedicated to the wonderful world of the short story and to all who enjoy reading shorts stories as I do. I will try to add a few short stories every month.

You want gross? Try cleaning after people as a job. That's gross. At one time I was a home health aide. I went into people's homes and if that elderly lady had had an issue in the bathroom, it was my job to tidy the joint.
