Livin' the High-Falutin' Life like Royalty and fixing not one but TWO cheeseburgers!

YES!!!
I decided 'Consequences be damned!" and took out a second mortgage on the house and bought a half pound of hamburger and made TWO cheeseburgers from it!
I feel so empowered now that I may take out a THIRD mortgage, buy another half pound, and make TWO MORE - even possibly this time making them with hamburger buns instead of bread.
Heck, I might even go all-out and put BACON on them.
'Cause ya gotta have goals in life.

I hear ya, JJ. My goal in life is to find the perfect lipstick and the perfect hair stylist. If only I had perfect hair.

@JolietJake Yeah, that's my fantasy. I've bought tons of lipstick over the years, but I can't buy more hair. Well, I could buy a wig I guess. Just not the same, though.

@JolietJake These days hamburger is higher than steak was not long ago. I guess the hamburger on the value meal menu at McDonald's is a fairly good bargain.

That stuff is outrageously priced...usually I just pick it up and hold it for a moment or two before putting it back and buying some bologna.

I hope you enjoyed your cheeseburgers. It is almost the 4th of July after all. Next time buy the rolls too! I can't imagine a cheeseburger without a toasted potato roll to go with it!
Now you have me wanting a yummy homemade grilled cheeseburger on a toasted roll with my homemade burger sauce (mayo, relish, and sriracha). I'm putting ground beef and rolls on my shopping list for tomorrow!

@JolietJake I only do them in a cast iron skillet if it is winter and I'm desperate for a burger which is very rare. I prefer them grilled outside.

@JolietJake I do not know if I would have the heart to kill a cow, but I am tempted to bring a few sheep or a cow in my garden and stop mowing.

Sounds like a winner to me. I ate lunch at a restaurant yesterday- sat out on their patio that over looks the lake. I ordered their kiddy grilled cheese but insisted they slide some bacon in with the cheese. Good old hardened arteries. Love 'em.
