I may have emptied my mind a little too much...

Dammit.
I decided to meditate for a bit.
To focus on complete nothingness.
The center of a vacuum, a formless void, in which nothing existed.
Not sound, nor light, nor any physical presence.
And it worked.
Too well, perhaps, because now that I decided to come write a discussion of deep philosophical significance, nothing is there.
A great method of relaxation, a terrible method to prepare for writing.
But, lesson learned.
Next time I'll just meditate on myLot or facebook or something.

It was too dark to see from the lack of light, but it may have been ultra-neon fluorescent clear

@JolietJake There is your problem: the nothingness had to be without form, not dark nor light. You weren't thinking of nothing.

That's strange, I heard men are great at thinking about nothing, after all, when their wife/girlfriend asks what they are thinking about, some say "nothing" Hahahahaha

@Carmelanirel2 I think I read that book, too, but can't think of the title or author.

@JolietJake It was a book I read where the guy's mind is like a box, where their various thoughts are located, like one box would be for friends, another for family, etc, and that they had an empty box where they think of nothing, Then the women's mind is like spaghetti and why she is good at multitasking because her thoughts are all tangled up, like spaghetti. lol

Honestly, I am afraid to try meditation. I am afraid to totally get lost to my senses hahahha. Sounds OA but that's how I feel.

Were you really meditating, or just catching up on your sleep?

That reminds me of that announcement about Yogi Berra getting hit in the head by a foul ball and taken for x-rays: "the x-rays showed nothing."

Petula Clark is one of my favorite female singers. Do you by some slim chance, have any albums by her?

My sister used me as a guinea pig once, with things she had learned in a relaxation class. Clearing my mind didn't take long, because there wasn't a whole lot there! LOL Anyway, relaxation does work, it's amazing to relieve stress!

People complain when I am lax about things, but if I am lax again, that means I re-laxed, right?
