@JolietJake Nope! April showers = rain, and May flowers = seeds and bulbs needs that rain to become May flowers. I live in Alabama we have May flowers from April showers.

I did find out that, technically, the moon on March 1st was actually the 'blue' moon, which I had never known this. While most of us call the second moon in a month the 'blue' moon, really it is the third full moon out of four in one season.

It's based on the lunar calendar used to calculate Passover. (And I bet you knew that, right?)

@rebelann It’s the calendar used for all Jewish holidays. You can find out about it by looking up Jewish holidays or Biblical holidays. They use a true lunar calendar so every once in a while they have to add a 13th month so they stay within the same season. It’s really interesting.
