The caravan cupboard is finished

In three day’s time we’re going to a music festival. We are taking our bus which has been converted to a motor-home. A friend will also sleep in the bus as the table collapses to become a bed. We are lending another couple our car and caravan and we’ve been working to do a few modifications to the caravan to get it ready for the weekend.
While we were overseas last year, moisture got into the bathroom area. The ceiling, back wall and bathroom cupboard were all showing signs of mould. We removed the cupboard and have now put new sheeting on the back wall and on the ceiling. We have one piece to add tomorrow to finish it off. We’ve also made a new cupboard and that is now installed. It isn’t the best cupboard we’ve ever made but it’s okay.
We have ordered gas struts for the doors and will install them when they arrive. These will hold the doors up when we want something from the cupboard. I promised a photo of the finished cupboard so here is a before and after collage. We may put a mirror above the hand-basin (next to the cupboard) later. We are just about good to go now.

This is a small area to work in and trying to get the ceiling panels in has been a bit of a nightmare - especially when you can't let the panel touch the old ceiling till you're ready as the glue grips almost instantly. We've made good use of some leftovers from when we converted the bus to a motor home. That always pleases me. It seems to justify keeping 'stuff' for ages.

It's amazing to me how you are able to do all this work yourselves.

@FayeHazel Pretty much all kinds except classical, straight out jazz/country/rock. There are always more musicians than you have time to see but we do the best we can. There would be probably about eight venues with different acts every hour from about 9am to 11pm. Most gigs are 45 minutes with 15 minutes to change groups and set up the sound for each one.
