Have you set your totally arbitrary financial MyLot goal for August 2018?

I was gone for two weeks this month, visiting Montana, where I worked on our family cabin, and Colorado, where I visited a former kid client (now 20-years-old) and her mom. Because of that, I was worried that I would have a terrible month on MyLot. But it's actually going to be a fairly "normal" month. Maybe it's because the preschool is on "break," so I have more time to noodle around here. I am only four cents away from my goal from a couple of days ago, but I know it will take a miracle for me to achieve my more "aggressive" goal. I have to play a music gig tonight (for which I'll receive about $50), so I won't be able to be active this evening. Are you going to reach your MyLot goal this month?

I need 25 more cents to reach my last goal here. I won´t get them, of course. I don´t mind that much because I´m constantly changing my goal. It is yet another one of my fun here, but the amount of money I earn is not important at all. What is important is to have friends answer my posts with nice answers so that we can really start a conversation.

@TheHorse I was sure you would have. Its kind of like an electronic autoharp. Tons of fun and for whatever reason, the seller sold it to us for fifty dollars. Its probably rarely been used. It goes for a couple of hundred dollars on ebay. We're learning to play chords at this point.

I actually came really close to my "most aggressive" goal. And we were paid more for last night's gig than I expected. Cha-ching! Heh. Ah, thanks for the offer. The funny thing is, you probably would be a big help with the aesthetic side of things. Since we put a new roof on the "big room," we haven't put pictures up in there. I don't do "intentional bad taste." I'd probably want to go with historical pictures of the area, blown up as much as possible.

I went past twenty six dollars last month. I doubt this coming month will be that prosperous for me. But you never know. If it is, it'll be the last one for the year. Holidays are super busy at work.

I have been very lucky with my busy schedule that I have exceeded my monthly goal every month of 2018 so far. It's a good feeling to achieve a goal; I wish all my goals in life were this successful! lol I'm actually having a really good year in this respect, much better than I anticipated, so it helps keep me motivated to keep coming back to this site day after day when I have the chance.

I always make about the same amount, plus or minus a dollar or two. I enjoy the discussion, but kind of miss the hilarious discussions I was a part of a year or two ago. This place can be like a big cocktail party. I learn new things here all the time.
