Do you like to sing along to the music while driving? If you do it provides some great health benefits. For me, I just get caught up in the song. Maybe the tune brings back a favorite time in my life and provides a pleasant memory. Or perhaps the radio song playing fits my current mood. The singing to the music provides a kind of liberating emotion in me. But I didn't realize the other benefits car singing provides until coming across this online article by "Your Tango." Here are a few healthworthy reasons to turn up the volume and sing at the top of your lungs. - Improves brain chemistry- releases a body chemical such as endorphins causing a positive effect. In addition, it creates new neuron connections important in compensating for new situations like injury or disease. - It's great for your heart. Singing gives some of those major muscle groups a workout. -It lowers stress hormone levels. -Studies done show it increases life expectancy. So, are you a car singer and what makes you sing along? And if your not, perhaps you should reconsider. After all, what could it hurt besides the person sitting next to you. ha P.S. - the you tube video of Adele and James Corden singing is quite funny. Check it out and see! Source- summarized from Your Tango/newscred.com Photo- youtube.com
While home in London for the holidays, James Corden picks up his friend Adele for a drive around the city singing some of her classic songs before Adele raps...

What happened? Can't find a station whose music you like? Sometimes for me, a familiar song I just can't help myself, and my voice is not the best, lol.

@ramapo17 Oh yes! A legend in the NYC area. He is in his 80's now. I heard him recently driving. My friend has Sirius radio and he was DJ on there. "Hello Cousins"

When I am with my husband I sing in the car, not loudly, he must be able to hear everything going around.

@dgobucks226 Too loud music in the car is very bad, you could not hear an ambulance or... the police, chasing you because you are doing what not allowed in your car.

i think it is so much better singing in the car than listening with your earphones on in your ears. you cannot listen to the honks of cars behind you. my son leaves his earphones when he drives.

I cannot sit still if any of the music I like is playing. If I am in my car I am singing as loud as I can and if I am home and put the "oldies" on, or even some other era's, I keep going. Nothing makes me feel better and happy than some good old music. My daughter is like that to and if we are in the car and something comes on we like we have a duet going.
