It's the Wind

It is Kansas, and this has been a day to take advantage of the wind.
I have a wind chime my dad made ages ago. I have been moving it around my place trying to find a good place that I can enjoy it. It is now hanging outside the window by my desk, I can both see and hear it.
Today the schools are still out. The people across the street have their grand children over. They had fun with the wind as well. The empty lot across the way has no power lines above it. It is a perfect place to send your kites into the high flying wind.
Spring time winds are so much nicer than winter winds.

Don't get swept away by the wind like Dorothy.

Kansas is too. Sometimes we have all four seasons in a week.

I am sorry. I would not like chilly rain soaking to the bone.

Tornadoes actually happen in all 50 states. Earthquakes make me nervous. They happen in all fifty states as well, but you never know when they are coming.

I used to have two wind chimes hanging on my awning. This winter my awning came down with some heavy snow. This Thursday I'm hoping to have a new awning put up.

@GardenGerty yeah I would say the same here with the wind that we get but being out in the country we get a lot of it. That's awesome that you enjoy the view.

I have heard people gripe about the wind and how cold it is. Well, Spring is just shaking off its Winter coat. Love the wind on a brisk Spring day.

Very little wind here today. The morning was overcast but I asked the sun to shine and it did after noon. So I spent the afternoon mucking about in my garden.

I am glad you got to do that. I have been indoor/outdoor all day. I was so glad I chose not to go with hubby to fix the tires.

I'm not a fan of wind, out here it usually means dust and sand. Now a breeze would be nice but those are rare here this time of year.

There's pollen here as well but not so much from dandelion @GardenGerty maybe if you made salads from them it would reduce the pollen
