First let me set the scene so you will understand.
Down by I-20 in Oxford Alabama we have restaurant row, Arby`s, Burger King, McDonald`s, Etc. With Aldi grocery store near the end.
I was headed to the grocery store but Tony asked for a couple Arby`s roast beef sandwiches ( he just eats the meat) and I had a coupon but 2 for $4.00.
I pull around and ordered 2 classic roast beef sandwiches and letting the cashier know I had a coupon, she asked for the code but I did not see one on this coupon and I told her its the red coupon for July that came with the June coupons. She told me to drive around to the window.
I handed her the coupon and a $5 bill.
She handed it back and said this is for Arby`s, I looked at her like "Yeah!" and she told me this is Burger King. I started laughing and drove off.
Tony said " I bet you feel stupid!" and laughed. I was still laughing and when I could stop, as I drove into the next drive that was Arby`s I said " But she took my order for 2 classic roast beef sandwiches!"
True story!

@andriaperry I did something almost as silly. I had coupons but when I got in the store I saw they were out of date. Some lady asked me if I intended to use my coupons and I told her no, she asked me for them and I handed them to her without one time thinking what I was doing. She must have been dumb founded when she looked at them.

That was going to be my first question...How do you get roast beef sandwiches from Burger King? Don't feel bad. It happens to all of us.

No it was not embarrassing . I found it funny she took the order for 2 roast beefs and asks for my coupon code, and they don`t sell roast beef.

LOL! That is too funny. It IS funny that they still took the order and let you drive around. I mean HARDEES sells a roast beef sandwich. But Burger King certainly does not. What the hell? As for Arby's roast beef sandwiches, I like to slather mine with a good load of horsey sauce. But I want the bun too. But the meat by itself IS very good. I don't know what they put in their roast beef, but man, is it good.
That all aside, you should have pulled up to the Arby's drive through and ordered a Whopper just to see what they would say.

@andriaperry I don't necessarily mind Hardees, but many of them are filthy and so I won't eat at many of them.
I assume then that they did not have the Arby or Horsey sauce either
