Laundry and Groceries

It's the last day of the month and payday is three days away. I've been doing good this month buying groceries as I need them. Today, I used my foodshare card that I keep until the last grocery day of the month before payday. I must not have used it last month as there was more on it than expected. I only needed a couple of items, but I spent the time also getting my walking in and being very happy that I could walk the store instead of using the mobile cart. I felt proud of myself. I'm making progress. So, it was stairs and walking today.
So my groceries are put away and yes, eaten. I bought a packet of tuna and with a tomato and onion, made tuna salad. It was very good.
Now, I'm going to see what I can get accomplished here in the next couple of hours as I also want to work on Thread of Evidence.

i think buyin' groceries'n bulk fer the month 'tis not 'lways a good idea, tried that back'n the day'n found i spent more but seemed to've less food somehow?
ugh, my saturday? 't least i've made 't to nearly 6pm without needin' bail funds. prolly the rattlesnake startled such out'ta me.

@just4him yer welcome :) the hubs's ne'er listened to a budget, spends's he wishes 'n leaves me to pick'p the diff'rence. hopefully ya can watch fer sells'n the higher priced items.

he's pushin' buttons today 'n seems to be full 'f himself (the hubs, not mr. whiskey). yes ma'am, a real rattlesnake out by the mail box. 'twas 'nly 'bout 2 foot long, but 'twas not 'xpectin' such. glad the pup 'twas not with me.

@crazyhorseladycx Two foot is two-foot too long for me. I'm glad you didn't get struck by it.
I should watch for sales, but if I need it, I don't worry about whether it's on sale. I have started going to Aldi more and their prices are very good.

Thank you. I started buying by the week, but that didn't work last month because Housing messed me up for most of the month, so it was buying basic necessities for most of the month to get by. I'm glad I don't need to worry about that this month and can get the budget together so I know how much I have for groceries for the month. I'll take that amount and divide by four. I know it will be less because the rent is more.

I'm glad you didn't need bail funds. I hope there wasn't a real rattlesnake, though I'm sure you have them around there.

Weren't your groceries heavy to carry? I like to walk to places and walk home if I can but if I have heavy things I cannot do that. The tuna with tomato and onion made tuna salad sounds good. My Saturday was spent off of the computer and out on our porch. I came back on the computer today on Sunday morning.

pretty picture. Sunday I went grocery shopping. I also had to get printer ink at Target and cat food and litter at Petco. So I did alot of walking on Sunday.

Good to know that you made a good progress with your walking and stairs. 
My Saturday is over. In fact it's past midnight and we are officially into Sunday. The day went relaxed spending time with husband and kids and some good family meal together after a long. Husband was out traveling last whole week and was back late on Friday night.

@just4him It's 12:30 in the night and Sunday has just started. Right now watching TV with our laptops. Husband is also busy with some presentations and I am mylotting till I really fall asleep.
