My Uncle Gets Discharged Today

A few of you are so kind to often ask about my uncle. I promised to keep you updated. Got a message from his step-daughter, surprisingly. She apologized for not letting me know what was going on. I thanked her. My uncle gets discharged today. He will come to her house for the weekend. The caretaker will stay with him at his home Monday - Friday. Then the two step-daughters will trade off having him at their home on the weekends. I expect him to go to a facility soon. Maybe a nursing home, we will see. One step at a time. I cannot wait to talk to him. I will wait until Monday when he is at home. I know he must be so confused. The rain has finally stopped for now, after at least 24 hours of non-stop rain. Not sure if he will ever get better, he is on the decline. But glad he is coming home. Thank you.

@CarolDM I am not surprised, when you stay in the hospital a few days you get out confused. I hope he can improve.

oh hon, i'm so relieved she called, apologized 'n 'tis plannin' to keep ya 'pdated. hopefully those gal's'll take good care 'f him o'er the weekend, though i'm purty certain he's most fond 'f his caretaker. 't least he'll not be 'lone 'r back'n that facility e'ery weekend. that'd to be most confusin' 'n unsettlin' i'm thinkin'. thanks much fer the update, hon. glad yer rains 've subsided. got lucky here'n our severe thunderboomer from yesterday remained a sprinkle/drizzle all day'n 'nto the night. didn't turn o'er to snow. 'twas a beaut 'f a morn 'n i got lots tended outdoors. e'en the winds 've behaved today, jest a slight breeze now.

Yes I was very surprised. More to the story, I might share with you sometime. It will be a day to day situation. The rain started back an hour after I posted this. Not heavy.
