Woke up early this morning and was glad to see my grand daughter back from her weekend trip over to her boyfriends. She was the only one up and brought me coffee
She stays here during the week to work at her job her mom, my daughter got her where she works.
Grand daughter had to go to a doctors appointment by 8 am. She just came back and had bought the 2 for special at Mcdonalds . and gave me a sausage Mcmuffin.
Yum! I ate it already. It was so good.
So this day started out great. I just hope it keeps going that way. She just went back to bed since she has to work tonight. I hope that Clay will be quiet and let her sleep. He did get some food stamp card the other day but I was informed that's for special things he might need to eat during the month that we don't buy ? uugghh!
Not his words my dumb daughters. He did buy a few staples for the house.
Anyway, I am a happy camper right now.

That is not right all. He should buy the things that you all eat and share them. It's not for special expensive food just for him. If he lived with you then you all would claim the income in the household and the amount that is given goes go everyone in the household to share. I'm glad he at least bought a few staples that you guys need.

@Courtlynn well then you have to say you are separate households within a house. He doesn’t work or pay the bills so him claiming that isn’t accurate. The daughter is the only one who works. So they should have all been able to get the food stamps not just for him.

that is how I see it. I buy for the whole house with my money and daughter does. Why she wants to take the attitude that he is special is beyond me.

That's not true. You can live with others but get foodstamps just for you, by claiming you fend for yourself for food. And if you do that then the food bought is supposed to be just for you. Just as if you were getting them for you and your two kids, then the food bought with it is just supposed to be for you three. Not your bf or his son, etc. But hardly anyone ever follows the rule / law.
Also it is not for "special food" no matter what. There's like no such thing. Lol.

Grandchildren are wonderful. Your granddaughter is very thoughtful. I have three granddaughters but they're very little. As much as I am sure they will grow up into beautiful people, they do grow up quickly, don't they?!

@bunnybon7 These are my grandbabies. This picture is almost 6 months old (the baby is 6 months old today). All three have grown so much in that time. We last saw them in October and hoping to see them in August. I'd love to spend more time with them, of course, but we do get to facetime with them regularly.

@Courtlynn I finally got it on and have just gotten my floor cleaned and another sandwich from my helper. The one that comes out here once a week to clean and this time she also did the work.
I'm in a good place right now.

so sorry. But you do have the neices and nephews and can take their as grand kids. I had an aunt that was so close with me that my kids called her grandma. I was glad she did not mind and liked it.
My mom got a bit jealous but got over it in time 1 person likes this

@bunnybon7 Yeah, and now my niece is pregnant. So we will enjoy her kids as well. We will have plenty to keep us occupied in our elder years.
