If you've ever been frustrated with food preparation or just wondered if there was an easier way to do it there is. I came across some unique ways to enjoy my food and eliminate some of the hassles involved when making and eating those meals. Here are some of the suggestions... BANANAS I've always disliked peeling a banana although I love eating them. What always annoyed me is the pesky strings on the banana you have to peel off with your fingers. Well this tip solves that problem. Just flip the banana upside down and pinch it to open, then peel it the opposite way. No strings attached! CUPCAKES When eating cupcakes I always wished there was an equal amount of frosting throughout the cake. But cupcakes usually only have frosting on the top so the ratio of frosting to cake was never the same. It's kind of like peanut butter and chocolate. You want the same consistency so one item does not overwhelm the other when tasting it. Well, this hack solves the problem. Just slice the cupcake in half and place the bottom piece on top of the frosting making it into a sandwich. Cupcake and frosting...perfect together, enjoy! STICKY PASTA When making spaghetti I've had the problem of it sticking together. Has that ever happened to you? To solve it just add olive oil to the pasta after draining it in your colander. A small amount will keep it separated. Now those are some neat food preparations! What do you think of them? Were you aware of these food hacks? A "hack" refers to any trick, shortcut, skill, or novelty method, that increases productivity and efficiency in all walks of life according to Wikipedia. Apparently monkeys peel bananas 'upside down'. They're smarter than we give them credit for.

Okay the one about spaghetti is an old trick that does not work at all. Use more water and the spaghetti will not stick.

According to Chef Ramsey adding olive oil in the pot while cooking and after in the colander helps with sticking. Just saying. Of course, that's one Chef's opinion which from your cooking experiences you disagree with..

@MALUSE And adding olive oil does not work at all. Pasta sticks because most people do not use enough water.

@JimBo452020 There are no Italians on the site at the moment. So you're safe. I can tell you that this is not a joke Italians know. They'll tell you that they throw some spaghetti at the ceiling and if the spaghetti don't fall down, they know that the pasta is ready.

Yes, a terrific tip. Cupcakes can sometimes be dry without enough icing on them.

Yes, the cupcake idea seems like a fun way to enjoy one. Of course another method would be to add frosting inside the center of the cupcake which would help distribute the flavor better.

The cupcake one is really good as without enough icing they can tend to be dry tasting.
