We finally went on October 21 and celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Red Lobster (our anniversary date was October 3). We had a sumptuous meal and a really good time.
Things at the other house are finally moving along. The water leak is now fixed. The furnace man is coming today to fix the furnace and turn on the heat. We are only waiting for the drywall man to fit us into his schedule. I am getting nervous because the insurance runs out December 7; and we must have the house sold by that date.
I will watch the election returns tonight with great anticipation. I voted a couple of weeks ago by Absentee Ballot. I hope no one riots over the outcome.
Nothing much else going on. I am here every day reading and commenting on your Discussions and taking care of the Notifications.
Stay safe and healthy; and I will see you all again tomorrow.

Glad to hear things are coming along at the house and hope it's finished and sold soon. What a relief that will be.
I voted by absentee ballot weeks ago, too, and will be tuned to the TV and news for as long as it takes to get the final results.

@LindaOHio I am sure that Trump will try to change the results. Do not expect that he will admit that he is losing.

That's odd. I had a "pick 3". I had clam strips, scallops and Cajun chicken alfredo. Also had stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, coleslaw, cheddar biscuits, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Had plenty left over for another meal.

@kareng We love Texas Roadhouse too; but the nearest one is over 1/2 hour away. We go there when I have a doctor's appointment in the area every 3 months.

I haven't been to Red Lobster in eons... hopefully we will be able to do it again. Fifty years... that is awesome!! I have been watching the elections up here too. Nothing has been decided as of the last time I looked.
