Hubby is cooking

Hubby is cooking something very simple. I am very tired when I get home and i am glad for anything he does. I will go eat in just a minute. Nothing gourmet, fish sticks and onion rings. I made a pumpkin cake the other day and that will fill the bill as both a veggie--pumpkin--and a dessert. What more could I ask for. He just called me to come eat.

That is wonderful. I am sick of cooking but I do it for my husband. He does it sometimes.

About 90% of the time I cook our evening and weekend meals. He just could tell I am really worn out this week. If I was alone I would likely have a peanut butter sandwich and call it good.

@GardenGerty I hear ya. I want something quick. I had my fair share of standing over the stove or preparing meals over the years. I am already pressed for time as it is.

@stephcjh Do you actually earn enough online to make up for not working outside the home? Or do you have an outside job as well?

I like rice a lot. Hubby not so much. I have to limit it though because it raises my blood sugar.

Onion rings sounds really good. I just had smoked salmon, it was tasty.

It really was, I love salmon and do my best to have it at least twice a month, that stuff is expensive but so worth it.

When you are tired, you don't really mind what you eat as long as you don't have to get it.

When I am tired I tend to either skip a meal, or over eat. I just do not use good judgement.

@GardenGerty If I am over-tired I tend to skip a meal. My digestion seems to go haywire if I eat when I'm really tired.

I didn't feel like cooking tonight either, so I had a cup of those instant ramen noodles.
