It seems to me like there is so much wrong these days and everyone seems to be at odds with one another. I am afraid that a WAR is right around the corner for us and it is a very scary thought.
If officials would spend more time making peace, the world would be a much better place! I think it is to a point of no return though.
SAD!!!!!

There is unrest the world over and I am not surprised if war shows its ugly face.

North Korea fired rockets again. The Suez Canal blocked by a container ship. The Rohingya settlers in Bangladesh set on fire. Taiwan in full battle gear. China militia mooring at the West Philippine Reef.
War is brewing.

@eileenleyva You are so very right my friend. It is hard to trust anyone these days and nothing would surprise me anymore. So scary and I think this thing happening to us is closer than we think.

@stephcjh Rumor has it the Nokor ballistic missiles had always been aimed at California. That was years ago. They could have more targets now.
China has air force capability. Always violate our air space for practice and reconnaissance. The US Air Force are stationed here, as well as the battle ships.
No trusting China. They could bring trouble to mainland USA without the Americans knowing. Just like what happened in Pearl Harbor.

War never really ended just the location. Our troops are in Afghanistan, Syria and other places where war is a part of the curriculum. Our government needs to bring our troops home and just let other countries solve their own problems.

There's always been wars and rumors of wars.. We might be on the precipice of more fights but not necessarily wars and I hope the current president doesn't put us into one.

I think alot of countries are pretty preoccupied with Covid at the moment to think too much about hostilities.

They are still testing ballistics though so they have not forgotten about it.

Everything is pretty much unpredictable nowadays but i think nobody can rule out that idea bout war. Anytime major countries might just hit that red button and just go ballistic with each other. Lets just hope that something like that wont be happening anytime soon though

It is a shame that so much time is wasted by not getting along and looking out for one another.
It is also a waste of money with making such weapons also meant to harm each other.
So scary these days with how uncertain every single thing is.

There is always a war being fought somewhere. Wars are fought for many reasons some being religious differences, gaining territory and resources, and political difference. This has been going on for centuries so I doubt world peace will ever be achieved. When one feels threatened they respond to protect themselves and their territory. A common human characteristic and flaw.

@stephcjh I agree. And the current rhetoric from our leaders will be a contributing factor.

We have to keep something in mind, and that is that we have a very weak administration, and I think the world is viewing us with an 'opportunistic eye.' While we are focused on having an 'equal opportunity' military, other countries are focused on having a 'ready' military. And that is dangerous for us as a nation.
The last time this happened (to a different extent) we were attacked in Pearl Harbor. We got slammed into WWII. Granted, the wars were already in progress before we got involved. But I am not sure I am certain no one is planning an attack on us.
And I have no confidence whatsoever in this administration to be prepared for it.
