Yesterday we took our car in to the dealership to have some recall work done. Since it was going to take 3 hours, both of us had to drive. As you know, I HATE to drive and have driven less than 10 times in the past 11 years. Well, everything turned out OK. We had some heavy rain; but I was able to drive without a problem. While the car was being worked on we went to Panda Express. I had orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and fried rice.
Our little housekeeper didn't make it over on Wednesday and will be coming today. Meals on Wheels will also be coming today.
Nothing new on the other house. We are hoping that there will be a cancellation and we will be able to get the waterproofing/foundation work done before September 13.
Received my new webcam yesterday. I hope it's easy to set up and use. I want to be able to take good pictures and videos for the focus groups, etc. that I participate in. You will hear from me if I have any problems!
Starting to make plans for our trip to the Keys.

That's OK We will have to delay our trip; and the house will be listed in the late fall which is not good.

@LindaOHio Ours was good but was a bit saltier than it usually is. I might have to start going to the place in Zachary. I don't like waking up with swollen fingers!

@LindaOHio We need the so called "Green Pass" to travel through Europe, this causes long waiting at the borders, so I think that we are not going to move. As soon as they ease the restriction the virus restarts, keep the restriction and wait, I think it would be wiser.

@LindaOHio Is there a way you can break up the driving into small segments? Like find a small town to stop at and visit and spend a day at before moving on again? I will admit that it will be a lot of driving.

@moffittjc That's just going to make it take longer to get there. We need to drive 5 hours a day to make it in 4 days. That's my goal. My husband may not agree. We do have places to stop and see along the way. I just don't want to take forever getting down there. I want to be able to spend as much time in the Keys as possible...and we want to see the Everglades and other parts of FL too. I have a LOT of things marked on the map.

Hubs wanted Chinese. We ended up getting Chinese yesterday too from our really good local restaurant. September. We have to leave later than planned because of the foundation/waterproofing work being done.

We just started thinking about our next holiday too...It's been so long. I've never been to the Keys, but always meant to go. When we had the house in Florida, we always planned to go but never got around to it. Unfortunately our the company that took care of renting the house to vacationers, folded so we had to sell the house. Should have gone when we had the chance!

That would also be my question why the expense of two cars if you do not like to drive? OK I saw the answer but I still thing you should just keep one, Anyway, everything here in the world of kittens is quiet and their little eyes are popping open, Everyone including mama is asleep now, I was just working on my laptop today,

The 3 hours was the time that it took for the car work to be done. We weren't driving during that time.

Yes, it does; but the videos aren't very good; and I couldn't figure out how to save the videos to my desktop. September.
