I am alone at home.

It's been years that I have been alone at home. 
My wife and kids never allow me to stay alone at home but this time it's different.
As my father in law has expired so they have stayed there at his home and I have returned home today after his funeral.
People like to stay alone but I am different I never like to be alone at home.
I am sad as whenever I close my eyes I get the picture of my FIL. 
This Sunday I will bring my kids home but till then I don't know how I am going to live alone here.

I don't want to be alone too. This happened to me in my apartment. When I closed my eyes, I saw myself sad because I was alone. So I decided to stay in my brother's house for awhile.

@jobelbojel, me too can't live alone especially I see some images or shadows and that makes my heart throbs fast.

I am sorry about your FIL... I'm surprised your wife doesn't insist you stay with them at his house.
I'm sure you'll find something to do... You can always come to myLot and talk with us.

I don't mind staying home alone. In fact, we seldom leave the house empty for safety and security reasons.
It's understandable that you keep seeing your FIL, you were close to him and liked him, but maybe try to remember happy memories instead? Or try "talking to him" in your mind? (If that doesn't feel weird to you)

You will have to visit us a lot here on myLot, as you can have many people in this way, any time of the day or night. I am never alone, it seems.

I have no choice since I do not have anyone so I have learned to live a lone, Now I have 3 kittens for company but that is it, It will be all right until your kids get home,
