Hello everyone. Hope you are healthy and happy.
I will be away from the computer for about 4 days. I am fine...not to worry!
There were only two showings on the other house; so effective tomorrow, we will be lowering the price. Feedback was that it was priced a little high. (It's in an "as is" condition, even though we have spent thousands in repairs and updates.)
We are looking into getting a standby generator for our home so that when the ice storms hit, we are not stuck without heat and in the summer we can keep the freezer, refrigerator and AC running.
Nothing else going on here. Stay healthy, happy and safe.

i cannot tell you (4 times this summer) how many times that stand by generator made us more popular with our neighbors!

My husband is hesitant about it; but I'm sure he will be glad when we actually have the generator. Yeah, I love Corgis. Glad you are enjoying the pix.

Good luck with the showing. I always thought that there would be places to rent galore during the corona but am finding it is hard to find a place and prices are still high. I have to go out today and hope it does not rain. I love the picture you put there and I often wonder when a cat and dog live happily together at home why does the dog when goes out have to chase cats?

I’m going to meet my brother before his golfing lesson this afternoon to give him the goodies I bought him while on vacation. Other than that, I have to wipe down the “bed” and put it back in the car and finish cleaning up from the vacation.

Why lower the price? Can't you just negotiate with the buyer if they are interested and lower it for that buyer?

@LindaOHio I guess if a lot of buyers said it's overpriced perhaps it could be. If the house needs a lot of repairs or renovation that could be the reason. People don't want to deal with it maybe.

Those generators are a great asset to have. When we got hit with a hurricane and lost power I sure could of used one. Enjoying another 70 degree sunny day here!

Yes! We had an ice storm years ago and were without heat for 3 days. That won't happen again!

Hubby wants to go to PA Thursday to Sunday. One of his friend's wife's family has a house there. His friend is going with his wife for this birthday. And there will be other people there as well. We will not need to pay for the lodging. Can't say I am thrilled about going there especially since there are no plans on what we are gonna do there all that time. I don't just wanna go there and do nothing all day. I can do that at home.
