Hello everyone, I'm new!
Basically I'm lonely. I have no friends in person and I'm not very good at making them either. I'm very honest and people don't seem to enjoy this quality.
I had a few friends until I had an illness and then they left too.
So I'm here for friends! I've been looking through some posts and there seems to be some wonderful and interesting people here. I'm hoping to find others with the same interests as me. I love photography - especially macro, mostly all types of crafts ( at the moment I am making hats and scarves ) I love all animals and nature and many other things.
I look forward to making new friends, Gemma.

Welcome. After reading what you wrote I feel that honesty is a good thing. I am so sorry how it was for you friendwise when you were ill and your so called friends left. That is very sad. I hope you like it here. Thank you for letting us know about yourself. I hope you like it here and will stay. That is interesting that you like to make hats and scarves. What do you do after you make the hats and scarves after you make them? You sound like an interesting and creative person. So do you have a pet at home? I look forward to getting to know you better.

Thank you! People don't know how to handle others illnesses often. They said they "Didn't know what to say" so that is most likely why.

@GemmaMadelaine In my case though, I think they thought it to be more profitable to hang out with some more 'successful' friends than to staying in touch with an ill one.

Not something I've been called before!
At the moment I'm obsessed with making beanie hats, it's definitely out of hand at this point. I've made so many. Sent lots off for a women's refuge and have been gifting and selling to friends and family. Making some to distribute at the homeless shelters too.
