I'm trying to stay awake cuz I keep hoping I'll get a better shot of the eclipse.
Well, maybe a better shot than I got before but my iphone is no match for @myklj999 canon. Ohhhh welllll.
So I found another otter video, they're so cute and funny too.

I tried to take pictures with my Motorola and they didn't turn out very well, either. I deleted them. *shrug* I rarely need a real camera as my phone gives very good photos but for long distance shots, it just can't do it.

I was awake at that hour, but I missed out on all of that. I didn't have a view from inside, and I didn't want to venture out into the cold to see if I could manage a decent view (despite the horrendous light pollution in the city). So, I stayed tucked up in bed with computer and kitty--and a husband snoring away.

@rebelann Yes, it is amazing how much noise there is at all hours. I know that cities tend to be high energy, but I've lived in ones before that weren't this noisy.

They are very cute. But otter pets? Apparently they are in France. Funny, they had no interest in eating it.

Yeah, they are cute and you're right but I wonder if maybe these 2 were orphaned young and then raised in captivity, that usually means they can't be released into the wild anymore. I just hope that is the case but personally I would have looked for a wildlife conservation center or refuge for them.

Probably not and I would think its similar in other countries as well.
I just checked the authors notes and it turns out that video was created in Japan.

For some reason eclipses and I don't get along to well. There was one during the summer months I did see but it seems most times it is usually overcast when one comes along in my area. Hope you enjoyed your eclipse of the moon.

I should have tried to photograph it with my new digital camera. No ambition here though. I don't like going out at night here...too many scary critters around.

When there's scary kritters around it makes doing outside a challenge, I'm lucky that the scariest wild kritter here is that dadblasted ground squirrel but he's scared of Roscoe

I am surprised. Usually you take all kinds of shots. I guess it was just a wee bit cold out there.
