Yesterday we had to bring the car into the dealership to have the Starlink software updated. Starlink is a service that we pay for which allows us to push a button in case of an emergency. They have been having problems with the download; so it ended up taking 4 hours. In the meantime we decided to go out to eat. The dealership gave us a loaner car.
We canceled Meals on Wheels for yesterday because we had to leave for the dealership fairly early. Hubs wanted to go to Panda Express instead of Longhorn Steakhouse; so I agreed. The meal was mediocre and cold. We decided to go home after the meal and wait for the call that our car was done. They didn't call back until about 45 minutes before the dealership closed; so we decided to pick up the car today.
They are predicting lake effect s**w today. Yuck! Heard from my husband's cousin/Godson that he is moving to Sarasota, Florida in June! I am so jealous. He has been working remotely for 20 months; and his boss told him to go for it! Lucky man. Now that the other house is sold, we should consider moving down there too.

I seldom eat out so when I do I expect a wonderful food. I try some new restaurants once in a while but the word "Express" would keep me away from it.

@TheSojourner I only go to places where they make VERY well food I don´t do. I have a list of etnic restaurants that, of course, are very expensive.

Sorry you're not feeling up. Hope you feel better soon. Closing is supposed to be the 23rd; but they haven't heard from the bank yet.

The only thing that keeps me from wanting to go is that hubs is 80. If something happens to him, I will be stuck somewhere where I don't have any help. I won't know anyone down there.

Sorry about the meal not being that great...the steakhouse might have been better!? Eww snow, I am sorry! We probably will have some soon, yuck!

First, what an adorable photo! Maybe you all might move to Florida one day. We've had mixed results with Panda Express, but we ate at a Hibachi restaurant yesterday that was good.
Our daughter and family are going on a cruise for Thanksgiving, so just our son and grandson Nathan will eat with us. Not a big feast, but a nice dinner.

Glad you enjoyed the photo. We will probably talk about Florida. Hubs is 7 years older than I am -- he's 80. I am worried that something may happen to him; and I will be stuck not knowing anyone down there and will not be able to get any help. A cruise for Thanksgiving sounds fun. I'm glad you will have company for dinner!

@LindaOHio That white stuff makes me sick just thinking about it! Looking forward to seeing everyone.
The electrician will be putting in extra floodlights around one side of our house and will return when it’s time to add lighting to a new patio/deck which is being planned. Such headaches dealing with everyone.
