Tragedy at a Christmas parade yesterday. A car plowed through a parade, killing at least five and injuring at least forty people. This includes many in the "Dancing Grannies" part of the parade, as well as children.
Facts are still coming out as this just happened yesterday. Such a tragedy. Many witnesses of course, crowds at a parade. One said, "He didn't stop at all, just kept going and running over people the entire time".
The person of interest is being questioned by police and been identified as Darrell Brooks. He has a lengthy criminal record, since the 1990's.
Thoughts are with these families.
Waukesha city officials say five people are dead and more than 40 are injured after an SUV plowed through a Christmas parade in Wisconsin on Sunday. Children are among those injured, while the person of interest being questioned by police has been identifi

I know Waukesha very well. Was very close to where I lived, and I worked in Sussex for years when I lived in West Allis, a suburb of Milwaukee which Waukesha is also considered. My wife's cousin lives there.
A very tragic thing, and not something I'd expect to hear about happening there, but then the whole world has pretty much gone crazy, so no place is safe anymore.
