if you follow me, you know that I accidentally poked my eyeball yesterday with my fingernail and spent the day in pain from it.
The pain did not let up until right after 10 pm last night. I ended up staying up last night until almost 6 am. When I finally got out of bed around noon today, my eye felt much better. It still feels a big odd and sort of like it may be swollen a bit. I'm going to see how it feels tomorrow but I am so glad the pain is not back with me today.
Thanks to all who have been asking me today how my eye was. I appreciate your thoughts of me.

It was just one, although @DaddyEvil said he wanted to poke my other eye to make me forget the misery with the other one. Doesn't that sound mean??

@kareng Hahaha...you don't have to worry too much about @DaddyEvil's words. Because he is a person who likes to joke, and likes to tease friends in MyLot.

When I scratched my eye with a fingernail, it wasn't quite as painful. But, it was swollen and had to heal up. I'm glad your pain is gone and your eye is doing a lot better today!

I'm glad it is feeling better and that you didn't have to go to the eye doctor.

You could have stopped by. I would have poked the other eye for you so you forget how painful the first eye was feeling.

@wolfgirl569 I was just trying to help her! I am sweet and innocent.

@DaddyEvil I think most already know you are not innocent.
Thats not much help. Stepping on her foot would be better.

I am always behind and having to catch up on mylot...I'm sorry to hear this. I had my cornea burned by a burning stick that blew out of a fire once, the pain was terrible and I can surely sympathize. It took forever to heal, had to wear a patch, on and on it went for weeks. I am glad it feels better than it did, hope it heals quickly.

@MarieCoyle Oh my goodness. I can just imagine my pain x 4 with what you had to deal with. Did you have a full recovery on your eye and no problems with your eyesight?

@MarieCoyle That is good to know that you had minimal lasting effects from it.

I had one surgery to repair damage. I have a tear in my tear duct on that side from the accident. It took so long to heal that they never repaired the tear duct, so it doesn't always function quite right, sometimes that eye will water for no reason, but most of the time it's OK.
