The First Day Of Spring

Today was almost warm with beautiful clear sky’s and sunshine. A perfect first day of spring. Leo’s daughter came for a visit and we had a good long conversation. She brought flowers and a pumpkin pie. Of course I can’t eat pumpkin but I didn’t tell her that. I’ll take it to my downstairs neighbor. She has two daughters and I’m sure they’ll make short work of it. When she left I went for a walk and only needed a light jacket. While I was out I stopped at the gym and did a light workout. I met a man I’ve seen from time and he asked me about Leo. I told him Leo passed away last September. He was very sympathetic and said he had no idea. I came back to my apartment ,made a cake and turned on 90 Day Fiancé. It was nice out, more birds chirping and I saw a couple of squirrels. I hope you all had a day just as nice.

Oh I am missing spring since it was springtime when I got to visit the US back in 2018. It was nice sunny, but still very cool climate you have there. In my place, we only have two seasons that is the wet and dry seasons. We are now officially in dry season or summer and we are expecting very dry or hot days ahead.

@RubyHawk Too bad I got to experience spring only. I left the US when it was about to shift to summer. I am glad to experience springtime there since the climate was not as extreme as what my sister said about winter which is a bit hard to adjust to. Maybe someday I would experience the 3 seasons there.

It is different here. We have rain year round, Hot in summer, cold in winter and more neutral spring and fall. I like spring best when greenery is opening up and days are getting warmer.I like fall too when leaves turn to yellow and red. They’re beautiful.

That was nice of her to stop by for a visit, your neighbours will enjoy the pie that she brought. I am so happy that the weather is turning now, I hope that we enjoy the season slowly and we are not quickly into the heat.

@RubyHawk I'm sure that her girls will love the pie, its a nice treat from a nice neighbour.

I do not like the heat of summer and enjoy the up and down of the spring weather.

The neighbor said she and the girls loved pumpkin pie. It will be enjoyed and not go to waste. I hope spring weather will last a long time too. I’m not looking forward to ninety degree temperatures.

@Juliaacv I don’t like hot summers either. If you go out You’re sweating and sunburned beside the electric bill goes sky high. about seventy degrees would be perfect.

I wanted to spend time outside because it was so nice and warm but after I ate lunch I fell asleep and didn't wake up until a little bit ago. Oh well, maybe tomorrow I'll have better luck.

There are many days I’d love to lay down and take a good long nap . I stretch out in my swing and rest but I can’t sleep. Be happy you can take a nap.

I am glad that the daughter of your husband came to visit. We had a beautiful sunny day, but a jacket is not enough to go out.

@LadyDuck Today Tuesday I wore a light vest for my walk and came back carrying it. I was-hot and sweating.Cold is still on its way in tho.

It was 75F and sunny here today. We didn't go out because both of us are having allergic reactions from being outside yesterday. *shrug* I'm glad you enjoyed your day.

@RubyHawk We went shopping this afternoon... until my stomach rolled over and I hurried us through the end of the shopping trip. I laid down and fell immediately asleep. I haven't been awake for very long.

Happy Spring! Sounds like you had a nice day and visit with Leo's daughter. It's actually starting to be like early summer here . . . but then again it's supposed to drop in temps this weekend. Very warm but super windy today - the critters don't seem to want to come around today.

@RubyHawk This week ended up to be summer and they are now saying we might actually get some showers early next week. Won't hold my breath. Some of the new greens are actually frying here. Yep - I see the mourning doves cooing!

We have colder weather coming in too. But before long it will really be spring weather. Green sprouts are everywhere squirrels are climbing trees near my deck. It’s probably mating time.

I’m trying to think of the name of a very small animal I see sometimes on my walk. It’s brown and not much bigger than a mouse. They move fast. I sometimes see one run across the trail right in front of me.

Glad that the weather is getting nice enough for you to be able to go out and walk. We've had some warmer temperatures here and yesterday I even had the windows open for a short time. This season of 90 Day Fiancé is crazy!!

It has been nice for a few days but more cold weathers coming in. 90 Day Fiancés having some odd twists and turns. Poor Mike, wonder what will happen to him?
