My new mobility scooter

@CarolDM Thank you Carol and I will be using him next week but today I have other things to do and want to get them done. Moving right before a holiday has good and bad points. Thank you and the name is easy to remember for me and that is what I need right now. I love your suggestion too.

@CarolDM That is a nice name and thank you I believe I just came up with a name. I think I will call him Blue Thunder. Angel is nice too but I believe he is more of a Blue Thunder kind of guy. Now, since I asked for names I am thinking of combing your name with another two. It was very nice of you and two others that suggested names and I should not ignore that.

@Hannihar We do not need a license but we need an insurance for mobility scooter, you can cause damages also with one of those.

@LadyDuck Very true that damage can be caused with them. Here there is no license. You can check where you live.

@LadyDuck I love it and it is really fun to ride if can do the sidewalk most of the way. If you want one then get one. It is not fast and cannot take it on the highway. It is only faster than people walking and no insurance unless can bring it into your home. This one does not fold up and I have an elevator so can bring it inside. You do not need a license for it. I had to sell my other one and when we moved to where we are now I could get one again.

I'm sure they do but I've never thought about looking for one.

@rebelann Gertrude is a cool name too but I decided to call him Blue Thunder. My cat does love to lay on it when it is here in our home. Do they have them where you live? Maybe you could buy one?

@rebelann I would suggest to only buy one if you really want one.

@Hannihar That would be nice if you can get a roof on your scooter. Then if it rains while you’re out you or your purchases won’t get wet.

@RubyHawk Thank you Ruby and I love it and good thing I went yesterday. I love riding it. It is electric so just plug in and charge. I noticed something that looks like need to order batteries but there you really do not and just have to keep an eye that the battery is full. When things settle down I want to see if someone she gave me can put a roof on and then can get plastic for it in for the winter and the rain.

@Hannihar I have a friend who got her mom a scooter. No top or roof or whatever you call it, so her hubby rigged up this holder for her umbrella and she scoots down the sidewalk with her umbrella to shade her from the sun or protect her from the weather. She loves it.

@nela13 Thank you because I do not take the bus or train and walked everywhere and got tired of it and wanted one but before could not get. I changed my address at the post office and then decided to go and after measuring it to make sure it fits I bought it. The only problem is the door to the elevator likes to close and only have so much time to get inside so have to find a way to keep it open till get inside. I arranged it so would go straight in. I have to get used to it but there are some things like my old one and it feels very familiar and I love it. Thank you that you are glad for me. I am also glad for me.

@nela13 It was already inside the elevator and now will have to get it in again. I am going to try and back it in so can go out forward when need to use it.

@Hannihar You will surely find an easy way to get in the elevator. This scooter is great for your mobility.

@marlina I also think that the same that the name I chose is very suited for my scooter.

@RasmaSandra I use it mostly on the sidewalk if can get by. There are places I will have to drive it in the street and stay as close to the curb as I can. The place is a good organization that is a charity organization and things are so much cheaper there. What I paid for the one I had was a lot and this one is so much cheaper and I felt good buying it there because I believe I am contributing to a good cause and money is well spent there.
