Summer is fun here

It's summer time here but it has rained here for 3 days and there is an upcoming LPA. I love it because it meant not very hot. Last night was a bit chilly because of the rain. glad to be back again here after a week i think or so of absence. How is the weather in your place today?

It rained here yesterday only the whole day. But today I guess the weather is starting to go back to normal. It is not that sunny yet but I am expecting summer will be back to normal. Yesterday's rain was really unusual since it rained like it was a wet season that even the rivers almost overflowed in some areas. But now they reported it returned back to normal levels again as it stops raining late last night.

@Janet357 I see, it was only in the daytime that rains were strong but late in the afternoon it stopped and at night I do not know if it drizzled a bit but we didn't feel it anymore.

@Janet357 Oh no! We have regularly rain here in Switzerland, this year has been uncommon, no rain during 3 months, this did not happen since 1861.

Beneficial rain, always good, you see we've drought conditions, and, must conserve water now. I prefer sunny days and rain at night, so can finish errands, shopping and laundry. We've sunny weather now, but windy. Big Island, has rain, though almost to flooding. Was so nice, good for I went shopping. Did laundry yesterday. All done now.

I don't know if I'd want 3 days of rain but it's very dry here and at least 1 day of rain would be a relief.
