Four Ingredient 7-Up Biscuits

Had leftovers for dinner. Steak, potatoes and gravy. Made some biscuits to go along as well. Love these 7-Up biscuits. Only four ingredients. Flour, butter, 7-up and sour cream. Can't get much easier than that. My sister always made these when she was short on time for a meal. And they are delicious. I made a pan of biscuits. Plenty leftover for breakfast and then some. I enjoy them with any meal during the day. Or for a snack. They were enjoyed with the gravy at dinner. And will be good with butter and jam for tomorrow's breakfast.

I've made these before and they are really good. I don't make them often, as I can't stay away from them! Enjoy!

Yes, they do. Also a good way to stretch meat and gravy, and economical.

Sounds interesting! 7-Up is a soft drink if I am not wrong? So we need to add this soft drink to the overall dish? I have come to know different dishes from your different posts.

Yes it is a soft drink. Does good in these biscuits. It works as a leavening agent, just like baking soda.

Interesting recipe. I tried the recipe of 2 ingredient biscuits (self rising flour and heavy cream) shared by @TheSojourner and it is easy and perfect.

@CarolDM I never buy any kind of soda, but I buy heavy cream to prepare cakes. I am sure that sour cream could be used instead of heavy cream, I have to try.

This is one that my family has always used and many others as well. I can make it without a recipe. I never buy heavy cream. Enjoy yours.

@CarolDM Is it self-raising flour or plain flour? I watched a video of it, it didn't say. No worries. I used SRF. I just made 1 recipe of 7-up bisquits. It's similar to our scones.

@CarolDM Oh, yes. Thankfully, I had all the ingredients. And at 2'oclock in the morning, after reading your post, I made 7-up biscuits. Crazy, huh? Family liked the goodies at breakfast.

I don't have any 7-Up here but I wonder if ginger ale would work. I should try it or go online and see if there is a substitute for 7-up.
