A Simple Explanation

Sometimes we can come across something that might be a bit unusual and come up with all sorts of explanations for the phenomenon. What we saw was pretty simple really. There were lots of parked cars and others still looking for parking in front of the aged care home that backs onto our village. We go past there quite often, either in the car or walking but had never seen so many cars there before. Had they brought in visiting hours, were they holding a funeral service in their meeting room, was there a ‘morning tea’ for visitors (and if so, why weren’t we invited?). Luckily, we saw a lady getting out of her car and were able to ask what the occasion was. So simple – it was staff changeover. Within half an hour, half the cars would be gone and there would be plenty of parking room again. The photo is of a butterfly in our garden.

What a beautiful photo! I guess I'm just not that curious. I wouldn't have asked about the parking lot being full.

It must take place at the same time every day so you probably haven't been in the area when that went on. Pretty butterfly.

Yes, it's a honeysuckle. We have one on the front fence but the bugs are getting into it a bit.

That makes sense, although it was not obvious before asking. Your picture is pretty.

How did you come to a conclusion that it was staff change over? Could it be a family gathering, or a discussion on project on hand? I love the butterfly.

Are the flowers in the photo honeysuckle? I have the pink variety and I see it is attracting the butterflies. It is the same here when it is staff changeover.

@JudyEv I like the scent. I bought a very tiny plants in France before moving here and now it covers big part of our wooden fence. I like the scent in the morning, it fills the air.

@JudyEv I'm a fan of Perry Mason, and I need to know why of the cases! I love mysteries, must know why, always of story. I like knowing why, too. To know why is a must. Agreed.

Where I live, the streets are full of cars at a certain hour and worse still, on certain days. The streets of the city I live in were not meant for so many cars. Sometimes I feel that even babies drive
