Look Who I Finally Caught

Well not literally. But in a picture. I was taking a walk around the yard and seen George looking at something again. It was up by the fence acting like it wanted to get through it. It moved away as George turned towards me. But then it came back and was testing the fence again. So I took pictures as I walked part ways out. After cropping and enlarging this was the best one. As the fawn was still there I went towards it and shoed it away. I didnt want it getting tangled in the fence. Hopefully its mommy found it as I didnt see it any after that. But there is places it could get under the fence out there. Hopefully it dont but I wont be surprised if it does. It sure acted like it wanted to.
I ended up not doing too much today. Just relaxed and took it easy. I did get my shopping list made out. I get to do that exciting errand tomorrow.

Hopefully just fence buddies. At least until its big enough to jump the fence.

@wolfgirl569 When Pretty was little, she always wanted to know what we were eating. When one of my brothers gave us some venison steaks, I told her it was Bambi. She took a bite, chewed and thought about it and then said, "I LIKE Bambi!" 
Since the pandemic started, we haven't seen any of our family that hunt, so haven't had any Bambi to eat. I envy you having a source close-at-hand.

@DaddyEvil I always waited until the kids tasted to tell them what it was if it was different. That way they were not pre grossed out mentally
We dont see a lot so havent taken any for a few years. But he is thinking about trying this year again.

I sure hope the baby stays away from the fence, I've seen that happen and it's not pretty. Run away, baby deer!

@MarieCoyle This is regular field fence. Many just dont jump it as they can go around. But the mama is in the pasture a lot. That one is still too little to try at least.
