GOOOOOD GRIEF!!!!

A mourning dove watching me.

I took that shot of this mourning dove a few weeks ago, it has nothing to do with my discussion. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have just had a strange experience with a delivery. I bought 3 pairs of pants from Kohls on June 20. UPS gave it to USPS to deliver to me but it was delivered to the wrong address in the wrong city. So I tracked that package. It went from Colorado, where it was delivered to the wrong address, to Las Cruces NM, then to El Paso, where I live, then to Dallas then to City of Industry CA then back to Dallas and now it's finally here. What I can't figure out is why it wasn't delivered to me in El Paso before it was sent to Dallas the first time. I'm losing faith in USPS. It's really stupid how they send things these days I love owls so I thought I'd add this video

That's not a good thing. I will be freaking out if it happens to me. I also felt mad because a delivery man texted that a parcel of mine will be delivered, but no one came. I wasted my time waiting.

thats a young bird. yeah, that whole delivery scenic trip your pants took is rediculous. packages coming in from arizona to where i live, sometimes go through my area and then go to san bernardino or city of industry, both ups and usps have delivery portals there. but why the extra mileage? im just an hour from the arizona border.

I read that they can't see in daylight. I dont imagine people keep owls as pets. Here people dont, maybe it's not legal.

I have never seen anyone with an owl as a pet and I think it is not legal in the US either.

It is funny how USPS does business. I sold an items to someone in the area I live and instead of going directly to them the item went fifty miles away and than back here to be delivered.

At least they finally reached destination. I just ordered two pairs of shoes, I know I should not, but I needed two flat shoes for walking and hiking. I hope to get them before next Sunday, I want to wear them to go hiking.

I ordered supplies from United Medical for my CPAP machine last month. (This company took over for the one that I used to get my supplies from...) I'm eligible for some new items each month. When I called to order the items that were supposed to be sent this month, I asked about the ones I still didn't have from last month. Two operators later, I reached a young lady who asked me my name, address on file and date of birth. After giving her that information, she asked why my supplies were supposed to be sent to my PO Box instead of my home address, which she read off to me. I explained that I didn't want to confuse anybody by having two addresses on file, so left the mailing address the one I originally gave them when I was prescribed the CPAP machine. (I don't know how she got my physical address. I don't give it out.) I asked again about the missing supplies. (I didn't need them but am stocking up on them in case they change something and I can't get what I actually need when I need it.) She told me that until they can figure out the addresses in my file, they aren't sending anything to me... and hung up.

@rebelann The supplies ordered for this month should have been here yesterday. We still haven't seen the ones I ordered for last month. If I call her again, is she going to hang up on me again?

I suppose there are plenty of stores that cause these kinds of problems but more often than not it is the fault of the United States Postal Service.

I see these doves almost every day here all year long. Very cool to hear their sounds. I have seen some messed up tracking before on orders as well. They waste so much money. Love the owls too.

I'm so surprised not hearing them now, used to be they'd be here year round. Same for the grackles, I see those in the city but not out here anymore.

Sorry it took so long to reply. Thank you, it's hard to get good shots of wild life .... or pet life for that matter. There are way too many idjits that have been hired as drivers for usps and fedex, neither one is overly reliable. As for UPS, so far they haven't done anything stupid yet, only time will tell

I have the feeling it has to do with how their home office relays instructions.
