Morning from the hospital

Dear friends, I am ill. I caught a bug, who knows where. I am even thinking about telling Rosa not to come any longer The only way you catch this bug is through dirt.

I have been 2 days at the hospital. At first, Claudia took me to one that my health insurance did not cover and for that half day I paid almost the price of one air ticket. So claudia took me to MY hostital where I will have to be at least 5 days. I don´t know how it will all come out. Just when the ear doctor had said that I colud go for vacation, this happens. As it is a virus, the only thing they can do is to keep me hydratated and with some pills to controls the diarrhea. Friends, I´m beginning to feel VERY old. My sweet grandson asked permission from his boss to come and see me, told me that if Aruba did not work we´d have other times and brought me the laptop to the hospital. Just to tell you that I am alive. Or at least, half alive. Yesterday was a disaster. I love you all.

I am so sorry that you are going thru this battle. I hope that you will allow yourself to rest and hopefully between the pills and staying hydrated, you will be quicker to finish with this and be able to leave.

@DaddyEvil Today I´m a person again. Not perfect, but decent. My bowel was completly destroyed by a virus and I got dehytrated in hours. But I am better now.

I want so much to get over this. Just when the ear doctor said that there was no reason for me not to go to Aruba, this other thing started and a lot worse. Now people are hospitalized only in case of urgency.

Oh nooooo! I can't imagine where you caught the bug unless it was in a doctor's office. You must be really ill to be in the hospital! I hope you feel better soon!

I am so very clean that I don´t know where I could have gotten the bug. I am beggining to think that I will tell Rosa that I can´t pay her and get someone else. I have seen her several times do things with one hand and using the cellphone with the other, including cleaning up Luna´s poo.

Pitiful! My Mom's healthcare plan, would let the non covering things transfer to her health plan and no charges incurred. As yours was hers, an emergency. Hope you can transfer it to your healthcare plan. Christ, help you in every way, get well & stay well, thank you Christ, amen.

@oahuwriter I am a bit better. Claudia changed me the first day to the hospital that my health insurance pays for and here I am what they csll preferent patient. Still, I don´t know how much I will have to pay.

Oh, Marga! I'm sorry. I truly hate being in the hospital, I'm sure you do, too. I really hope they can help you and you feel better soon!! Take care of yourself. Wish you were closer in miles, I would make you some homemade soup!

I am feeling much better today. I´m with hydration through the vein, lots of meds given in different ways and many people taking care of me. It seems that I had a bid dehydration and my kidneys started not working well.

@marguicha Dehydration can lead to a lot of health problems. IV fluids will help a lot, then you have to do a lot of drinking, tons of water, to keep up!
