Dustin Visited Me In the Garden

Well maybe he didn't physically visit me in his garden. But this statue I have of a boy and his dog was beside me just now.
I was sitting on the bench behind the rose bush again today. The weather is so nice. The hummingbirds will be migrating soon. Was waiting to snap photos and they all disappeared.
So, I decided to enjoy the statue I have placed beside the roses. A little boy and his dog relaxing. I call him Dustin of course. Yes some may say I am losing my mind on days but so what. These little things get me through.
Photo is mine. I will get photos from the front of the statue another day. Hope your day is going well. A nice Friday here. And the hummingbirds just returned when I came inside. Of course!

As long as you aren't hurting yourself or anyone else, let them call you crazy. We know you aren't...

I love that beautiful statue Carol!
I can see how he would comfort you of course.
A boy and his dog, enjoying each other in trust and love.
RIP Dustin and I know he is there Carol!
Why, I can see him in all the photos you show us and all the beauty in his garden there.
The peace is astounding.

Thanks. I will get a photo soon of the front. I was just sitting on the bench and liked how it looked from behind. He is always with me. This has to be Cassie he has his head on, our cocker spaniel that ran away right after he passed. I will always say she went looking for him. I appreciate your continued support always.

That is a nice statue, I am sure that he is nearby and beside you quite often. I realized that I must have had a visit myself, probably from Martin one evening because cats can see spirits, and Ringo got so spooked he went flying and hid for a while. I am always alone up here, so him suddenly seeing someone really got him scared. Still wish I could have seen him myself but while still in Latvia and just after he passed he often came, and it made SId happy.

Thanks, it was in the screen rom and I moved it out by the roses. He is all around me. I truly believe the Dude has a strong connection with Dustin. There are so many things that he has done. Amazing. I know exactly what you mean. If only we had one more visit I always say.

I do understand how you feel. Dustin is still alive from the seen world of ours to the unseen.
I can relate to my parents and others who have left this shore.
I go back in memories all the time and relive the moments I had with my son who was born after fourteen years. He left home when he was just sixteen to study and work in other countries, but the times together are evergreen.

Beautiful and I am so touched, Carol. I could feel your emotions and tears starting to come. I could feel the moment I was sitting there with you, silently.
I have those days, too. And we're not losing our minds.
Always so good to see and hear you, Carol. @CarolDM

No, my sweet friend, you aren't losing your mind by enjoying the little things to get through the hard days. We all have our ways to get through them.
It was nice today as I worked at the church, mowing the yard and cleaning inside. Won't be too many more times to mow.
Suppose to rain all weekend. Will be in and resting. Have a blessed evening.
