It is only my opinion, but I think the people of the UK want William and Harry and their wives to just get along.
Everyone was so happy to see them on walkabout, looking at the tributes to the Queen.
It would take some concessions and considerations on the part of all four of them as well as on the part of King Charles.
It seems to me that anytime the uproar settles down, the press is right there stirring things up again. I think the royal subjects are ready for the family to all make peace.

There’s so many ways you can read things. British are very polite people, and they won’t upset the apple cart, especially with an important thing like the Queen’s mourning period. On the other hand, you can take King Charles’ mention about Harry and Meghan “making a new life overseas” to mean “once this over get your butts out of England.”
It was nice to see them together, even if it was for show.

People in the UK want Williams and Henry to get along, they surely love Kate... they can do without the other as she is the one who caused all the problems in the family. It's not hard to get along, stop going to talk shows to bad mouth the family.

I agree. I mean, family is family. I do get both sides, though. I mean, I am not sure it was the best idea for Harry and his wife to go around trash talking the royal family—I mean, maybe some of it is true and some of it is not. I just don't know.
But, in a perfect world...

Unfortunately, many things were said by Harry in interviews which were insulting to his grandmother the Queen and the family. You don't air your grievances in public and to the press. You settle them in private. When your part of the Royal Family you can't have it both ways. You want the notoriety and pounds which come with your position, but do not want the responsibilities that come with being a Prince.
Harry could have taken a page out his grandmother's book. She never expressed her views publicly to the media. As they say, if you have nothing nice to say about anyone, best to remain silent.

If people followed this then leaders could go on with leading and not feuding. It often feels like a fight in the school yard, with words being said and spectators urging the destruction on.

Personally, after all the lies they have told about the Royal family and their lives in Britain, I would be perfectly happy if Harry and 'Me-again' would just *** off to live that 'private and quiet life' they claimed to so desperataly want.
