Pig In The Garden Lunch

My neighbor called earlier and asked me to ride along as she had a few errands to get done. So I did. Always fun to spend time with her.
We both had errands to take care of. I had a few groceries to pick up. And she had crafting supplies to get she had ordered ahead of time.
On the way home we stopped at a favorite BBQ restaurant I have not visited in awhile. It is called Jim 'N Nick's BBQ. Their menu has it all. Many will buy large orders for tailgating parties from here.
She had the salad called Pig in the Garden. Pulled pork on top of a great salad. It had lettuce, bacon, cheddar cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, almonds, homemade croutons, and topped with smoked pork.
Too much for me of course. I got a regular salad with the homemade croutons. So good. Just enough although it will probably be lunch and dinner for me.

I'm glad you got to go out, get some errand done, and visit with your friend at the same time. It is good to have that quality time.
I would not have been to eat that either. I would have eaten the lettuce, bacon, cheddar cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, and almonds, and taken the pulled pork home.

That Pig in the Garden sounds woot-tootin' delicious. I'd go for that in a flash. Our local BBQ spot, which for us has the best, is a place called Beast Craft. I should see if they have something similar, although I always opt for the smoked brisket.

Interesting, never saw pork on a salad, but I'm not against it, they are both delicious. I will try anything once.
