If you were sixteen again what would you have done differently to impact your life in the areas of - health, wealth , family etc? Or are you totally happy with the outcome so far.? One thing l would surely do differently is eat healthier meals. One's good health is one's wealth. What would you do differently? Picture shows my favorite James Bond star, the late Sean Connery in his younger days.

Sir Sean Connery was also my favorite James Bond. I do not know what (IF) I would change something to my life should I go back in time. Should I try to follow my dream and become an architect I would not meet my husband... may be I would change nothing.

The fact is you are living a good life so far , how becoming an architect would have impacted your life will always be a mystery. It is good when we can be happy with our present life.

At 16, I was making my way in life, mostly on my own. Losing my Mom at 14 forced me to grow up a lot faster than normal. Was more or less caring for my Dad and brother.

So sorry that you lost your mom at 14. A lot of responsibility for you at that young age - being the only female in the home.

@Kandae11 Yes it was a lot. And I was the baby of the family. My older sister was on her honeymoon when it happened. I grew up fast for sure.

If I'm sixteen again I should have not followed my mother's want for me to be a teacher. I would like a computer course. I think I would have a totally different life

Cannot think of anything I would have done differently. Changing one thing may lead to other changes which we never know. Perhaps I would do more exercises.

If I am sixteen again, I would probably be good at decision making. I could have studied well during my freshman year and exercise a lot for my well being and health. I was sickly back then.

He was my favorite Bond. I remember someone telling me that even if you could go back fate has it that things would turn our just the same again and there are things I never want to repeat. I am thankful for my blessings and content with how things are, There is a wonderful Roy Orbison song You'll Never Be 16 Again

It is good to count our blessings. After Connery l think the best other Bonds were Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan.

I have revisited this idea many times, and as much as I might have wanted to make some changes—not starting smoking for example even though I did quit for 13 years, started back up, and then switched to vaping. But I tend to side with the idea for all the good and bad, I am who I am today because of who I was yesterday, and for better or worse I would not be who I am today had I been something or someone else yesterday. Besides, it's that one turn or that one decision you change that perhaps changes everything, including whether or not I AM here at all today. So, I'd rather just leave things just the way they are for whatever it is worth. Good or bad.

You are perfectly correct. Just one decision we might make can herald a whole sequence of events - which could end up bad, not so bad or good. The point is we are here today, surviving in a difficult world.

@Kandae11 I remember there was a 1st class I worked with when I was in the Navy. He was not happy where he was living and moved, and that one decision put him into the Chesapeake Bay Tunnel on the way to work in which he was killed.

Well, I was a happy sixteen years old. I had wonderful fun friends and a very caring family. I felt loved and secured. And I did nothing at that time that I should regret for. Maybe I don't want to change anything. I wish that I could go back in time and enjoy those youthful days.

If I am sixteen today, I would study very hard and further my education to the university. I would have liked to pursue a degree in business administration so that I can be a manager in any firm.

I definitely talked to myself on my sixteenth birthday. Because I talk to myself every day. So if I could meet my sixteen year old self, I would smack the poop out of me. And tell myself to read more. I would also tell myself to be kind. Slow the fudge down. Learn everything you can. Kiss as many girls as you can, so you can find your first last kiss sooner. The sooner you find that, the sooner you will have a family. And that will absolutely warp your reality, into something so terrifyingly beautiful and perfect, you will weep while reading Dr. Suess. Run. Lift. Jump. Fish. Hunt. Always with respect. Garden. Its the easiest thing in the world. You just put the seeds in the ground, and they know what to do. Explore everything. Love everyone. Let yourself feel everything. Know your cummunity, like you know your pee pee. Laugh. Every minute if you can. About everything. It literally heals you. I have so many more thoughts, but its the end of the day for me. Goodnight Neverland. Sean Connery was my favourite Bond too. Although he got me even more with the ole salt and pep

@Kandae11 Thats our fault. It takes a village. You and I both know we can reach just a little deeper. And if you are not in that position? Lay it out for me. Let me hear it all. Get it out. Over and over and over, until you stop crying. And then, just maybe.... You might feel your body screaming to want to move
