Done With Early Chicken Dinner

Just got done with a late lunch and an early dinner. After another ride to the park on this beautiful day, went ahead and made an easy dinner. All done now. Baked a couple of chicken breasts. Pan fried some small red potatoes, my favorite. And opened a can of black-eyed peas with snaps. Also sliced a cucumber to have as well. Almost forgot, I made my own BBQ sauce. A little smoky and a little sweet. Added some smoked paprika I got from Coral awhile back, Apple cider vinegar, tomato sauce and paste, honey, salt, pepper and a little Worcestershire sauce. Always good on the baked chicken. Photo is mine.

I have not made this meal in awhile. I like my own sauce and always add a little honey and brown sugar. I like it sweet and smoky.

Your dinner sounds really good. We enjoyed barbeque sandwiches and coleslaw. It was a picture-perfect day here, the high was 68 with very little humidity. Wish it could stay this way always.
