Bachelor Weekend

Well, my wife is off this morning, heading to Wisconsin to meet up with her cousin and some other friends for a gambling weekend trip. She won't be back until Monday, so I am pretty much on my own this weekend.
I will most likely spend some time playing my guitar, and some time will be spent here of course among other things.
I'd say we will save some money this weekend not doing the usual grocery and household shopping, but I sent her off with $700—so we will likely spend more.
Unless she wins, but I am not betting on that. lol

@CarolDM Stranger things have happened. I still want the "big one" to something like the Powerball or MegaMillions. But I guess a few thousand will do just fine. Can't be too greedy I guess, and neither can I look any gift horse in the mouth. lol

I am hoping she comes home with a boatload of money too so we can help pay for this camper. lol. I will most definitely enjoy my me time.
Secretly, I will still miss my wife. It's a double-edged sword. I love her, so while I enjoy my alone time and I also really enjoy our "us" time.

It's more like "Quiet Monk Weekend.' ("Bachelor Weekend" implies you're 'going on a pub-crawl with your buddies, painting the town red, etc.')

She probably won't spend all of it. We always over budget just to make sure there is no loss of the "fun factor."
If it is any consolation, I got the money from selling a covered call options contract in the stock market. So, we are technically spending someone else's money. lol
