Extra hours / myLot

I am trying to get some extra hours in with my sister, since Bob is not home to go home to. By the time I work both jobs and do the travel between them I am away 12 hours. Poor Bitty has to stay inside. The big kitties did not come when called and had to stay outside. I have not been here much. The same will hold true tomorrow. Saturday maybe I will have all day doing my own business.

No reason for you to be home alone if you don't feel like it. And if you can earn extra money helping your sister, no reason not to do that, either.

It is probably nice to keep busy at this time. Poor kitties when it gets colder.

My sister felt like she was taking me away from Bob, she was wrong, of course, but said she would have quit both her and the school job to be with him. Not my style, though. I could not do anything for him while he was in hospital and nursing home. He is doing much better now that he is at home.

There are times when my wife is out of town (I realize that is not the case with Bob) that I tend to stay at work a bit longer. Might as well make the money. lol

It sounds like your sister is closer to Bob right now, could you stay there for a couple of days to cut down on your traveling?

She has to have permission for people to stay overnight. Or report it, whatever. No, she was not closer to Bob's location as she is an hour west. The VA is an hour and a quarter South. The nursing home was 20 minutes west and so was only10 minutes west of the school. When Hubby was in another hospital a few years ago I did stay at her place because it helped with the travel.
