An Excessive Water Bill

United States
November 20, 2022 6:42pm CST
My neice that got stabbed, well i called her to see how she was. Mind you, I don't know her, just she us my sisters granddaughter. She had the nerve to ask me for money, say she is going to move into a 3 bedroom house, but she has to pay 491.00 for a water bill before she can move in. She was trying to tell me about Cash App. I am thinking she has to be kidding. First time I talk to you, you want money. I really don't like that.

Sounds like she is less of a niece and more of an opportunist, I say never talk to her again,

Damn, that's a little brash, asking for money just because you're related and she doesn't even know you. I wouldn't like that either and I sure as heck wouldn't give her anything.

We have nieces and nephews that we don’t really know either and they have asked for money several times. Never a call to say hello or how are you. No interest in getting to know us, but ask for money and don’t understand the word no. They send messages on Facebook and call.

Some people can't help themselves, I guess... I'd say you're better off not knowing her.

That is really bad. Just that one action really tells you a lot about her in a way.

How in the world did she run up a water bill like that and not get the water turned off.

Hell, it could have been the 10th time she had talked to me and I still would not have been inclined to give her money. People that don't have money don't have money for a good reason, and I will be damned if they squander mine as if it is their own.

So your niece was kidding that she got stabbed.it's not good asking for money at first meeting, except that she encountered a urgent case, but obviously it was not.
