felipe and negor

Yesterday, at the end of a nice family Christmas, my eldest daughter told me some news that she did not dare tell me on Christmas Eve. She had called Felife And Negor to wish them a Merry Christmas and she learned that Felipe was driving to a hospital from the middle of nowhere where they live as Negor was having problems with the baby she was expecting. The only help they had where they live is a 39 year old midwife. There are no doctors or hospitals near. Negor lost her baby. She was 3 months pregnant and the only happy thing is that they did not see the fetus. At 3 months of pregnancy, fetuses look very human. I could not write to tell this here yesterday because I was too sad.

I remembered all my loses and although some rational people told me that the first 3 months of pregnancy have more prsibilities of ending in a miscarriage, Negor and Felipe wanted very much to start a family. Friends, I´m sad. I hope this can soon be placed in the past and that in the near future Negor can have their so much wanted baby.

I am so sorry. It is hard to lose a baby, no matter how old they are. Especially on Christmas day.

@LadyDuck I can´t understand why they did not choose a place nearer hospitals for Negor´s pregnancy. But they believe in everything natural, at least Negor does more than Felipe. Although I understand that a midwife knows a lot, I have always thought that doctors know more. I know that I should know say this, but I also know that pregnant women should take some special vitamins and the like.

So sorry to know this sad news. I guess it is just but normal to feel this way as losing someone dear to you would be devastating. I think all we can do now is to pray for them and never lose hope that someday in the coming days their wish will be finally be granted and build their family once again.

That's very sad indeed. The first three months of pregnancy are very crucial. The mother has to be very careful with her diet and movement.

@aninditasen They live in the other side of the planet. But she doesn´t smoke at all and I don´t think that she drinks, at least not much. On the other side, I am nobody to give advise. When I had my babies, nobody said that smoking caused damage. And I smoked through my pregnancy and breasfeeded with a ciggie in the other hand.

I am very sorry. It hurts so much, when you are carrying a baby you want so badly and it doesn't work out. I hope they have lots of emotional support and much love from everyone they are close to. It does help a lot.

My sincere condolences to you and your family. It is very traumatic to lose a baby. My daughter and her husband went through it a few years ago at 3 months pregnant. We always remember the sad anniversary.
