Blue Skies Have Been Enjoyed

Have been enjoying the weather the last few days. My photo here shows you the nice blue skies we have had lately. Rain is coming again this weekend. But no storms, only rain.
Had a follow-up yesterday with my ENT (ears, nose and throat). Six months since my Neurosurgeon did my brain surgery. The ENT wanted to follow-up to be sure some issues had resolved. The doctors were hoping many symptoms I had prior to surgery would be gone afterwards. And they are all gone.
He was so happy to hear about my swallowing issues being resolved. I had tests done prior to surgery and he wanted to see if maybe the Chiari Malformation in my brain was the culprit of many issues. And he was correct. I am able to eat foods much easier now.
I was glad to report I am doing well, six months out. Happy to have that all behind me now. And trying to enjoy the nice sunshine days we have had lately. I hope you are all doing well. I will catch up as time permits.

I sometimes have trouble swallowing - even when not eating or drinking, and I choke. I've been doing that since I was a child.

@CarolDM Right. That is exactly what happens, and when it does, it scares the daylights out of me, yet I know why it is happening, so I do not panic.

The sky is such a beautiful bright blue, thank you for sharing it.
Our sky is a dark and gloomy grey, and not one that I think you would want me to share. 
What encouraging words from your doctor, you must have been so relieved and beaming all at the same time.
It is hard to believe it has been 6 months already, although this afternoon I was remembering that weekend very clearly like it was yesterday.

That's a beautiful picture and I'm glad you're doing better now.
It has been sprinkling here since around noon. We're supposed to have more rain overnight and then clear on Sunday. The temps have been 45F for the last two days. (I'm not sure if you get my temperatures as well as my weather but there you have it.

Thanks, I enjoyed this sky all week. Made my very happy to see. This visit was to see the ENT (ears, nose and throat). The Neurosurgeon did the surgery. I saw him a few weeks ago. But the ENT wanted to follow-up with the swallowing issues. Yes I was happy to share with him how much I have improved. Thank you so much.

We had pretty blue skies this morning too. By the afternoon, clouds rolled in. Like you, we are expecting rain over the weekend.
So thankful you are doing better after your surgery. And that you can eat easier now. I had another friend who had similar surgery and it helped her too.

I am thrilled at your doctor's report. I am so glad you are all over your surgery and issues have been resolved. Love the picture. Mr. Sun has been notably absent most of the week.
