I wrote the obituary

My nieces are struggling, each in their way. One is sleeping and avoiding everything that needs to be done. The other one is being "in charge" and trying to make sure everything is done right and on time.
I actually knew more of the information needed for the obit. Plus, I think it was easier for me to write it. My brother had sent us a template that served as a good reminder of points to include.
I did not correct capitalization, etc. Just e mailed it off to niece #2 and brother. Niece #1 has deactivated her e mail.
They will add pictures.
Each of the girls is different. Niece # 1 saw her more often, paid for her phone, etc.
I do not need to feel so obligated, and Bob is ready for me to slow down a bit.

What a hard time for each of you. Interesting how different both the nieces are.

It's been a very trying for you all I'm sure. Having a template would be a good idea. It's easy to miss things you'd like to say.

It's so hard on all involved. I will continue to pray and keep you in my thoughts. Take care of yourself and Bob.

I feel badly for you and for your family going through this.
That was a nice final bit to do for your sister.
I hope that your nieces get through this very difficult time and learn to lean on each other, as that is the immediate family that they are left with.

Penning the obituary was all you needed to do. They needed those facts, so your job is over. The two girls will work this out, regardless of how they decide things should be. You did a good job!
