Yes, they do I was so thrilled for my son. Usually we are in Florida and miss his birthday, except when we were home during covid. Back in Florida!

@LindaOHio It’s what you would expect - sunny and 81. Humidity is 67%. Perfect! Connecticut had no snow to speak of. What little we had never stuck to the road or melted quickly. Fairly mild so far, although that will change in February and March.

@DianneN How's the weather there? It's very cold here. It's going to heat back up into the 40s though. Except for that brutal Christmas storm, it's been fairly mild this year.

@DianneN Thanks Dianne. I've been doing okay. My husband and I have dealt with Covid for the better part of December but we have recovered for the most part. I'm just getting back to myLot; again. I seem to take quite a few breaks from the forum. At any rate, I'm glad to see you too. I think I remember that you took a little time away. I hope that you and the family are all doing well. Oh yes, by the way, our lighting system seems to be working out well. We have a canopy/tent in our front yard that we're using for shade as we work on a few home projects. The tent has been left outside overnight for the past two nights and so far, it is still in the yard the next morning. I just hope that I don't eat my words, since it's still out there.

We have one over our garage while we are in Florida. That, an alarm system, and video doorbell better do the trick So nice to see you. I was wondering how you have been doing.

@betlynfrnds So sorry you both had covid. That’s terrible. Yes, I had no time to be on myLot. My life was sucked up by major work in and out of the house. Hope you don’t have to eat your words. Enjoy your tent and your home projects. It will be worth it in the end

Thank you and they don’t cost a thing where electricity is concerned. My son was smiling constantly. We all had a great time. Today, his girlfriend left with her mother and brother for two weeks in Ecuador. My son can’t go, because he’s too busy with work

@kobesbuddy They stopped in Miami and are now on the way. We were invited, but they are too active for us with hiking, kayaking, etc..lol

Thank you! The trees look so pretty lit up at night. My son lives in the same town as us, but we leave him to stay in Florida during the cold months. It was so nice spending time with him. We probably won’t return to our state until the end of April.
