In case you're wondering

I had my CT Sunday night and my doctor's office called a few minutes ago. Apparently, the results were "normal". But it was suggested that I have an MRI. I will see my doctor on the 28th and will know if/when I have it. And then I'll tell you.

I love doctors. Got told at my last cardiology appointment everything looked okay and here by the way I'm gonna add nitro pills to your prescriptions "just in case you need them". I ain't needed 'em fer the last 7½ years and nothing has changed so what the heck prompted that?

*sigh* "Normal" just means the doctor is still seeing something he suspected but wants actual proof of the problem before he tells you about it. (Sorry if you didn't realize that yet.) I keep getting told various tests are "normal", lets try another test. I'm really tired of doctors. I hope you don't have a problem that gets pulled out of a magic hat on you.

Well, it hasn't been scheduled yet, just suggested.

@BarBaraPrz The more the doctor pushes to get the test done is how worried they are about whatever they think they're seeing.

There is always one more thing, one more test, UNLESS of course you think you may need it, then it is not something that they would recommend.

Seems your doctor is not satisfied until he finds all is not well with you (lol)

I’m glad the results are normal. That is good news. Do you think an MRI is necessary?

Normal, now go have another test. You don’t need that frustration.

"Normal" means that they have not investigated more. The cardiologist called my husband the past week, furious because his colleague told to my husband that "everything looked normal".

Sounds a bit confusing but hopefully the MRI will also be "normal"
