Yesterday hubby went to a doc about a rash issue that has been causing hubby grief. The doc's helper was a good sized male. Friendly and working on being Robin Williams. He said "My name is Chuck but if you have any issues, you can call me Mary." Made for a fun visit. Today we drove half an hour to the north to our state capitol to speak with a gastroenterologist. I'm glad we left early cause it was a big medical campus. Very tall fir trees had been left alone so the brown buildings reminded me of a summer camp more than anything. I even looked around for a mess hall! The doc there ordered some scan type tests for hubby. One scan involves radiology and dye traveling through your system. Fascinating in a way. That test will happen in our town so that makes life a whole lot easier. We're not sure when that will happen. Mount Rainer with all its gorgeous snowy grandeur graced us with its presence on our drive home. I hope Chuck-Mary or is it Mary-Chuck? had had a good day, regaling other patients.

I can see how that would make some patients feel more comfortable... I've had male and female doctors and nurses. I don't get embarrassed over them checking whatever they need to check... *shrug* I hope the test helps your hubby.

That is funny. I like funny medical people,, unless they are the type who think they are funny and in actuality are not. Glad you are getting to the root of hubby's problems. The university medical center in these parts is awful with the traffic and people and parking. Plus they have re named some of the buildings just to make things extra confusing.

@snowy22315 I did get lost the other day for his first appointment and made us late- too many buildings! That particular building was down the street and around the other side of the hospital. Good gravy.
