Tuesday Morning Brief

Well, today's the day. Snow advisories are in effect starting at 8 PM tonight through 6 PM Thursday. They haven't changed the snow totals. We're looking at 13 inches of snow by the end of the storm on Thursday. We have a trace of snow on the ground from last night's clipper that rushed through.
That's tonight. So, my plans for today include Bible study this morning at my friend's church, getting notifications finished, and hopefully, working on a book or two. That and getting my steps. I'm not changing my step goal. It remains at 8000. Yesterday, I got over 10K.

I am jealous...I can't believe we haven't gotten any snow this winter, but it happens some years. They were originally thinking we might get some this weekend by the time the cold front gets here, but no they say the snow will not happen here and will stay far to the North.

I am getting on towards the end of my day. We are doing up some bulk cooking so we will have plenty of food on hand if we were to have a snow day. It just makes it easier all around for me to know I have food on hand.

I think we'll be getting some of that weather today, too. Not looking forward to it. Currently 1°C/34°F but is supposed to get to 7°C/45°F.

@just4him I certainly hope that's the case but it's supposed to get colder tomorrow and Thursday.

I hope you aren't reduced to digging tunnels through the snow to get anywhere... The forecast shows rain starting here tonight and possibly lasting through... oh, the forecast has changed... rain was supposed to last through Thursday night but now it's just showing for Wednesday night.
Pretty and I spent the morning running errands and just got home from getting groceries.

I'm glad it's only rain by you. I'll watch the weather when it comes on in a couple of hours and hope the totals haven't changed unless we're expecting more. I don't want less. I'm greedy when it comes to snow.
I was smart this time around. I put my windshield wipers up.

I could hardly believe it when I read this morning that there are more snow storms on the way, Sure hope spring gets here quickly. Just did more writing on my PC and clearing up some things.

@DianneN Thank you. I'm just glad I don't need to wear the back brace anymore. My back no longer hurts unless I do something stupid or walk too many steps, or carry a heavy fruit tray down to the community room. Otherwise, there's no pain. 
I'm also sitting up straighter than I ever did before, thanks to my back. Sometimes it's good to break things. Not always, but sometimes.

We have no trace of snow now and for a few days we are enjoying warm sunshine. I met my friend for coffee, returned home to experiment with baking soda and pork chops in the hope that they tenderise. which they did. Why had I never heard of that trick before!!
